Holger Rune v Arthur Rinderknech Head to Head
The pair have played each other once before, and the head to head record is one win each.
Rinderknech won in Kitzbuhel last year and Rune in Lyon this,
Both those matches were on clay.

Rune A Man in Form
Rune’s form this year – he has won two titles and been runner-up in another final – means that he has already qualified for November’s NextGen ATP Finals in Milan.
But the teenager is not satisfied with that and is aiming for more before the season is out.
Certainly he made an impressive start in Switzerland, beating the number seven seed Alex de Minaur in straight sets.
And he carried that form into his late night second round match against another Frenchman, Ugo Humbert.
After the first eight games of the match went with serve, Rune stepped up his effort, broke Humbert to love and then served out to take the first set.
An early break in the second set confirmed his grip on the match, which he underlined with another break for good measure. Humbert’s cause was as good as lost by then.

Qualifier Rinderknech Sails into the Quarter-Finals
Rinderknech achieved his best result of the season, since making the final in Adelaide back in January, when he got to the last four in Gijon.
And he has been able to carry some of the form he showed there through to the indoor courts of Basel, after coming through the qualifying competition first.
He began by causing something of an upset, knocking out the number four seed, Marin Cilic, in the first round in three sets.
His second round opponent was another East European, Alex Molcan of Slovakia, and getting past him proved to be an easier task than he might have expected.
Two consecutive breaks gave Rinderknech the first set, and then, when he broke again early in the second, he appeared in complete control. Molcan gave himself brief hope by breaking back, but any advantage he accrued from that was lost when he dropped his serve once more.
Rinderknech was able to serve out from there.
Rune v Rinderknech Prediction and Tip
Although Rinderknech has done well as a qualifier to get this far, he is playing a man in form on tour right now, who will believe he has a chance of making another final.
