Jiri Lehecka v Dominic Stricker Head to Head
They met once at the qualifying round in Halle this year, with Stricker winning in three sets.

Lehecka Beats Arnaldi to Advance
When Jiri Lehecka entered the court to take on Matteo Arnaldi in his final match in the Green group, the equation was clear for him , win the match in three or four sets and qualify for the semifinals. And the 20-year-old Czech did just that, defeating the Italian in straight sets to book a spot in the final four.
With a 2-1 record, Lehecka finished second in the group, behind Brandon Nakashima, who won all three of his matches.
In his final match of the group stage match, Lehecka edged the first set in the tiebreak. He raced to a 3-0 lead in the second and then missed out on a break point in the next game to allow Arnaldi to get on the board. He then had to defend a break point in the final game before going up two-sets-to-love. In the third set, Lehecka’s was once again under pressure in the fourth game, but he saved both the break points before sealing the contest 4-3 (7-5), 4-1, 4-3 (7-4).
Lehecka had also won his first match against Francesco Passaro in straight sets, but he was outplayed by Nakashima in the second contest.
The Czech player, who made his debut in all the majors this year, produced his best tennis in Rotterdam, where he was a semifinalist. He also won one and lost one Challenger final and broke into the top 100 for the first time this year. Can he finish the season in style?

Stricker Remains Perfect
After playing out eight tiebreaks with a 6-2 record in the first two matches, Dominic Stricker finally had an easy day in office as he breezed past Tseng Chun-hsin in under an hour in the final round robin match of the Red Group. As a result of the win, Stricker topped the group with a 3-0 record.
It has been a stunning three days for the Swiss, who topped the two highest ranked players in the first two matches and qualified as the table topper.
In the first match Stricker defeated Jack Draper in straight sets, although all the three sets needed a tiebreak. In the second match, Stricker stalled a brave comeback bid from world no. 23 and local favourite Lorenzo Musetti, before going on to win in five sets. All five had needed a tiebreak, with the Swiss winning three of them.
It was far more easier for the world no. 111 against the Chinese Taipei player. Stricker won 83% points on the back of his first serve, struck 24 winners and converted 4 of 7 break points while saving 4 of 5 to win the match 4-2, 4-1, 4-2.
Yet to break into the top 100 Stricker is currently sitting on a career-high ranking of 111. He has produced great tennis over the last three days and will be hoping to keep that momentum going in the semifinals as well.
Lehecka v Stricker Prediction and Tip
With three wins in the round robin stage, one of which was against a top 30 payer and another against a top 50 player, Dominic Stricker enters the semifinal high on confidence. He has shown great ability to absorb pressure and is looking like a player to beat at the moment. Lehecka on the other hand has scored wins against players ranked outside the top 100 and was outclassed by the higher-ranked Nakashima in the toughest match of the group.
So in terms of preparedness, Stricker is better prepared for the semifinals. He is also in great form and should keep the momentum going by advancing to the final.
Tip: Sricker to win: 9/20 (Click Here to Bet with bet365)
