Trevisan Close to Her Best But Struggles on Hard Courts
Trevisan’s record in 2022 was good enough to help her finish the season ranked 27th in the world, three short of her career-best ranking.
Unfortunately, that doesn’t underline her reliance on her favourite clay, with the Italian player winning just five matches on outdoor hard court surfaces.
Even over the years, Trevisan has struggled in hard court tournaments and has won just 39 of her 79 matches in such tournaments – these includes qualifying rounds and the ITF circuit.
