Where will the 2023 WTA Monterrey Open be Played?
The 2023 WTA Monterrey Open will take place in Monterrey, Mexico. The tournament will run from February 25 (qualifying) until March 5, 2023, when the women’s singles final will be held.
The WTA Monterrey Open will be staged at Club Sonoma on outdoor hard courts and is part of the WTA 250 series. It is the second WTA tournament being played on Mexican soil this month after the Merida Open.

In-form Chinese player Zhu Lin will be looking to maintain her fine start to the year. With Indian Wells just around the corner, some of the WTA’s biggest hitters will be looking to pick up a few wins under their belt and head to California high on confidence.
Caroline Garcia hasn’t won in Mexico before, although she clinched the WTA Finals title some 700 miles away in Fort Worth, Texas last season. The Frenchwoman will be the player to beat during the week, after a subpar Middle East Swing. Garcia has already lost one final, so if she gets to the championship she will aim to amend her record.
