2020 WTA Korea Open Schedule & Dates
The dates for the 2020 Korea Open have been released and the competition begins from Monday, September 21. This will go through to Sunday, September 27, when the final set of the women’s singles final will be played. What Happened at the 2019 Korea Open?
Karolina Muchova, the third seed in the competition, emerged a winner in the tournament, clinching her maiden WTA title. She did that by easing past the fourth seeded Magda Linette in the final, 6-1, 6-1. Muchova had earlier edged past Wang Yafan in the semis, having only been pushed in the opening round by Alison van Uytvanck.
Top seeded Maria Sakkari withdrew from the tournament before getting to the court while the second seeded Ekaterin Alexandrova made it all the semifinal where she went down to Linette.
