The Hopman Cup 2019 is set to feature the most competitive field in the tournament’s 31-year history and all the latest Hopman Cup tips, predictions & odds can be found below.
Among other teams, Australia, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Spain and USA will all be a part of the Hopman Cup this year while the likes of Ash Barty, Alize Cornet, Alexander Zverev, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Garbine Muguruza, Roger Federer and Serena Williams will feature.
Federer’s 20-year-old compatriot Bencic will be looking forward to gaining her momentum back after a disappointing spell in 2018. She has proven in the past that she is a player capable of winning big games, 2019 may turn out to be her season.
The team from Russia could feature Karen Khachanov and Svetlana Kuznetsova, another great combination of experience and young talent. Khachanov reached his career-high singles ranking in 2017, while Kuznetsova retained her position in the top 10.
Though she had a slow season, she has been a formidable player nonetheless on the tour.
Even the team from Germany is quite intriguing, with Alexander Zverev and Angelique Kerber representing the nation. Zverev has won a Masters title but he will hope he can get his hands on the coveted majors while Kerber will kick-start the season as a Wimbledon champion.

Lastly, there’s the unchanged team representing the United States, comprising of Jack Sock and Coco Vandeweghe. Last year, they were the runners-up and this time, they’ll be hoping to go the distance.
It would be interesting to see if this is indeed the last edition of the Hopman Cup before the tournament is replaced by the World Team Cup that will be played from 2020 onward in Australia. If that is indeed the case, this could have a nostalgia-filled end to the competition that has been around since 1989.
