The 2021 French Open kick-starts on Sunday, May 30 with 40 of the first round matches to be played on day one of the competition. Some of the top players like Naomi Osaka, Dominic Thiem, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Aryna Sabalenka and Alexander Zverev will all be in action today and you can get all the information on the order of play, live streams and predictions for these matches below.

Kick-starting the play at PHILIPPE-CHATRIER will be Naomi Osaka who has had a lot of attention on her after her decision not to front the media at the end of her matches. Will that affect her performances at a tournament where she hasn’t done too well?
Following her will be Dominic Thiem who was expected to do a lot better since winning the US Open last season but his struggles have been unreal. Another poor showing here could have a lot of question-marks raised as he takes on a tricky opponent in the form of Pablo Andujar.
One of the favourites to make it to the final from his half, Stefanos Tsitsipas should not have too many difficulties in going past Jeremy Chardy in his opener, which is what we can we say about Alexander Zverev as well who faces fellow German Oscar Otte.

In another match at the SUZANNE-LENGLEN Court, the third seeded and in-form Aryna Sabalenka will look to get past Ana Konjuh in what could be an interesting encounter.
Victoria Azarenka takes on Svetlana Kuznetsova and Petra Kvitova faces Greet Minnen in some of the other top matches on these two main courts, while Fabio Fognini will be up against Frenchman Gregoire Barrere.
